HIM = High Impact Man
F3 is a workout group at it’s core, but don’t forget that that’s just 1/3 of what we’re about. The other F’s: Fellowship and Faith are just as important as the F that most know us for: Fitness. Do you have an interest in helping F3Hickory? Here’s a couple of ideas on how you can make that happen:
- Volunteer to either help with our relay, The Mortimer 100, or HC to run it and raise some money for a charity. Interested in either? Send me an email: hootbowman@gmail.com
- Volunteer to help Flex Seal with our upcoming 3rd F event. The date is 1/26 and I know that he’ll need some help in doing something. And at the very absolute minimum, please plan on attending and asking someone new to join you? Email Flexy at: bpittman@hkresearch.com
- Volunteer to help with our Dad’s Camp. Dad’s Camp doesn’t go down until August, but it’s never too early to let me know that you are interested in helping Q something for that weekend. Last year, we had roughly 10 guys that stepped up and helped out and I am super grateful for their efforts. Interested? Email a brother: hootbowman@gmail.com
- Do you have an idea for F3 or our community that you want to discuss? Give me, Powder, Flex Seal, Beaker, Tooth Fairy, Sheamus, or HBC a holla.
- Why those fellas you ask? Well, they are on our board and they have a heart to serve as well. I find myself bouncing all kinds of stupid ideas around on HBC all the time. Half are stupid. Half are sheer flippin’ genius. All of them are conceived while I’m on the toilet.
- I’m still working on ways to expand F3 into Southwest Hickory. I’m meeting with the men of Exodus again this month (?) to continue to discuss ideas on how we can help them. Initially, it may not be w/ an AO but I still feel that we can do something for those fellas. If you have a heart to open an AO or any other type of outreach for the underprivileged men in your community, let’s discuss? Same email: hootbowman@gmail.com.
