QIC:  Cousin Eddie

We’re 5 years old now and still as strong as ever.  No, that’s not correct.  We’re much stronger than when we first started.  Expansion into Burke County starts this month…..Morganton, we got our eyes on you.  Still working on the men of Exodus to start an AO in SW Hickory.  Something is going to work there.  It may take another year or so to figure it out, but I’m not giving up on hope there just yet.

The key to our sustained success will continue to be growth, both from bringing in FNG’s and by expanding with new AO’s.  And that reminds me, if you have somewhere you’d like to grow or know someone that’s close to us that has an interest in starting a workout, give me a shout:  828-324-4413 or hootbowman@yahoo.com.  Expansion does take some planning, but we’ve done it pretty successfully.  In fact, if you’re looking at the most successful F3 Region between Charlotte and Knoxville, you’re looking at us.  That’s something to be proud of.

I previously mentioned Morganton as an expansion target, but what about Maiden, Newton, and Claremont?  Adding an AO at Kiwanis Park in Hickory?  Something near Springs Road?

Point is, we do not need to be complacent with our region’s current status.  Push the rock.  Give it away.  Tell a co-worker.  Tell a friend.  Again.  Someone in my sales training told me that it takes at least 8 asks before most people will consider making a change, so just because you’ve invited an FNG once doesn’t mean that your work is done.  Keep on asking until they post.  Give it away.

If you’re thinking we’ve already asked everyone in Hickory/Granite/Lenoir who you think fits the F3 mold, you’re wrong.

Here are the numbers:

HKY population: 41,000

  • 19,000 males
  • of those 19,000 males, roughly 8,100 are between the ages of 25-55, also known as Prime F3 Age.
  • We have about 472 contacts in our gmail account.
    • roughly 6% of the PF3A population in this town.

Lenoir:  18,000

  • 8,000 males
    • 3,650 between 21 – 54 years old

There are 1,700 males in Maiden; 6,000 in Newton.

Y’all get the point right?  There’s plenty of room for growth here.  Lots of Sad Clowns that need F3.  Let’s keep up the strong work.  Give it away.
