2017 Endure Ultra Champion
What: 2018 Tyler Sims Endure Challenge
When: September 30th, 2018
Where: In our own backyard, Sims BBQ, 6160 Petra MIll Rd. Granite Falls, NC.
Why: Time to show our area what F3 is all about and serve a great cause.
If you were a part of last years Endure Challenge you already know that this is a great event for our community. Tyler Sims would love to see the support that F3 brings out to this event that he was so very much passionate about. Tyler was tragically killed while riding his bike on HWY 127 in Hickory (white bike on the telephone pole), but before the accident, the Endure Challenge was his passion. This was an event created by Tyler to help raise funds for Dudley Shoals Baptist Church Mission Programs. Now his legacy continues, through efforts from his mother and church/ community family the Tyler Sims Memorial Endure Challenge lives. This takes place on the grounds of Sims BBQ 6160 Petra Mills Rd, Granite Falls, NC.
Here is the breakdown of the entire event.
8:45 5k Trail Run
9:45 Jr Soldier Run ages 5-12 so bring your 2.0s, they will have a blast in the mud.
10:45 Soldier Run Ok last year YHC said it was about a mile, but it really is a 5k Mudrun.
These are your options:
Option 1: In true form of #CSAUP we have the Ultra Division (5k trial run and Soldier Run) BTW F3 was the champion of this event last year!!! All Hail King Bing! Are we gonna take it this year? Can someone step up? Ask Bing, its a pretty cool trophy as well.
Option 2: You can choose to run in just one of the two events. I dont really know why you wouldnt do both events, but we are a society that does not judge, we will have to come up with some kind of nickname for opting out of one of the events, but we love you anyway.
Also, bring your 2.0s and get them in this Jr Soldier Run, its full on great obstacles and really a ton of fun.
Costs:
F3 wil get a 20% discount for a group of 10 or more, so HC now! You also get a cool T Shirt.
Ultra Run $32 with discount
5k Trail Run $16 with discount
Soldier Run $20 with discount
Jr. Soldier Run $12 with discount
How to sign up
Ok this is important so listen up
HC by first getting your name and shirt size to Banjo in F3 Granite Falls @BenJohnf3Banjo 828-228-6034
Banjo has the official roster that we will turn in on September 9th. So get you name and info to Banjo asap.
Money, pay him, if you dont know Banjo, pay your AO master Q and they will get the money to him….just pay him if you HC.
What else do i need?
We will show up early for registration @ 0700. There will be an F3 Tent(s) to put our stuff. Bring your AO Flags! We will have drinks and ice but bring a chair and your gear that you think you will need. Also bring any snacks that you may want. We will have a BOM and Prayer at 8 am.
Again, this is a great event. Come out and compete, have fun and fellowship and help EH the other area men that will get a great glimpse as to what F3 is all about. Guys this is in our own backyard and lets support this to the best of our ability.
