Where – Tater Hole, Granite Falls; 100 Lakeside Ave, Granite Falls, NC 28630
Finish: Howard’s Knob, Boone NC
Cost – None. Zero. Ziltch*
*your team must show proof of at least a $1,000.00 donation to a local charity
Course – (we have much more info that this to reference but that’s only if you’re running this puppy). This is a Just for Shits & Giggles reference:
Also, it’s still over 15,000 ft of gain
Why? – if you have to ask this, Race Committee recommends you try the Palmetto 200 instead.

It’s close to Go Time. We’re 40 days from the start of the world’s Hill(bill)iest Relay Race. To borrow words from Waylon Jennings, you should be:
Straightenin’ the curves,
Flattenin’ the hills
Someday the mountain might get ’em
But the law never will
RC likes to make jokes and laugh at his misfortunes. And yours too. But this race is no joke folks. You won’t find this much elevation gain per mile in any relay race. If you’re not out training, you best get out there and hit some hills. Trails too.
Speaking of trails, be prepared for a last minute change in the course. RC is still waiting on feedback from Blue Ridge Parkway permitting. Don’t sweat it if those don’t work out either. We’ll still get our elevation requirements in.
