COT/BOM – But first, Flex drops it on us…he’s 49 today (Happy Birthday Flex) so up and down we go IC.

YHC mentioned the fact that some men have lost their sense of adventure. You remember, the things we did as young boys. To explore, to overcome challenges, to not just ride our bikes but to ride them with no hands or jump them off curbs (or in YHC’s case, to build a ramp and see how many garbage cans he could jump over…if you’re curious that number was around 8 or 9). But somewhere along the way that gets tamed out of us. Somewhere along the way a man can lose his confidence. Somewhere along the way doubt can creep in. To be a true man doesn’t mean you have to jump out of airplanes or climb a rock face or ride your bikes with no hands. To be a true man you must live with courage and accept the risks that God is asking you to walk into. This can look different for different men. For some it may mean taking a job or a leadership position that they don’t feel prepared for. Or it could mean writing a book or quitting the job you have to spend more time with children. The point is…courage. For those who seek courage, God is here. May you all find and embrace that sense of adventure as we enter 2022.

As always, honored to lead.

HBC
