QIC:  Pedro Martini

Like most in F3, YHC feels like the Lord has blessed me with an M that is far better than what I deserve. Among other things, she can cook!! The 60 lbs I’ve gained since meeting her are evidence. One night this week, she fixed breakfast. Bacon, eggs, grits…. and pancakes. Delicious, fluffy, glorious bites of fried dough. While eating, I was reminded of the F3 terminology flapjack, and thus ends the long backstory of today’s Q.

The Warmup:
SSH x 12
ATT x 12
Copperhead Squat x 12
LAC x 15
Smurf Jacks x 10

Bear Crawl half way across the parking lot. Crawl Bear back to starting point.

Take a short mosey with a ruck sack down the hill, and drop it off at the picnic shelter. Line up for LBC suicides (10, 20, 30, 40). After a quick set of parking space burpees, head back to the picnic shelter for calf raises. Now is when the real fun begins…. flapjacks.

One stack is never enough, so YHC decided that a buffet was the only option. Each exercise will total 100 reps broken into sets of 25. Once the set of 25 is reached, flapjack to the other exercise. Rinse and repeat through all pairs of exercises.

Mountain Climbers/Ruck Swings
Leg Raises w Ruck (Ruck overhead. Legs to ruck.)/Overhead Press w Ruck
Squats w Ruck/Incline Merkins w Ruck

Ruck back to flag for Counts and Names.

WOD: Rom 2:4 “…the goodness of God leads us to repentance.” We often think of this verse telling us that the blessings that God bestows on are meant to lead us to repentance. In scripture we often see just the opposite. Those who have all the blessings they can handle, instead of running to God, often begin to trust in themselves and think of Him even less. Were it not for God, who in the beginning of that verse bestows upon us His riches of kindness and longsuffering, leading us to understand our sinfulness and our need to repent of them, we wouldn’t. He shows us just how good He is by leading us to repentance. As we marvel at all of our blessings, may we never overlook the greatest one, salvation through His Son.
