Flamer has been on IR since I think the SMR, so I volunteered to take his RAM Q this week. I sent out the route Thursday night (4 miles) but Ferdinand, Patti, and Pumpernickel still showed up to do a 3 mile prerun. Here is how things went down:
Warmup: Double Taps x10
Burpees x10
Workout: Mosey to Hickory High. 15 Groiners in the parking lot, run to the stoplight at Hampton Heights for 20 Groiners, then back up Hickory High Hill to the lot again for 25 Groiners. Head to Viewmont Elementary for 5 Jump Lunges followed by Caraoke across the parking lot for 10 Jump Lunges then Caraoke back for 15 more Jump Lunges. Quick run down 4th St. to the YMCA parking lot for 50 Plank Jacks and 50 Mtn Climbers. Back to the Flag (2 minutes late) with a total of 4 miles.
WOD: Shared a text CE received from Abe stating that we wont find peace by trying to win an argument, or with violence, or alcohol. Ever. We can find peace in Jesus and our brothers in Christ. We cannot do this alone! Get right. Live right. Leave right. When you cant feel the presence of Christ, BE the presence of Christ for others.
Moleskin: Pump and Ferdinand are now runners. Kapo whined a lot about us being 2 minutes late. Cousin Eddie preaches all the time about lights but yet forgets his own (Go on Amazon, a vest and lights are under $20). Get a vest and a light, its darker in the winter. Our own Friar was hit today in Lenoir but fortunately wasnt seriously hurt. Herniator loves that hill on the 2 way street, and Cheese loves to get smoked by Herniator. Groiners are hard. Today was the Ram Record Run with a distance of 4 miles. If anyone claims otherwise I need the Strava proof. It was good being back at RAM again, YHC is recommitting to it.
