Papa Smurf (Nelson Cooper) passed away May 18, 2017 after a brave fight with ALS. To celebarate the life of Papa Smurf, his family and friends are putting on an event on his 51st birthday (March 24th). I wanted to honor Papa Smurf but I knew I could not go to Greenville, NC for the event so I reached out and asked if I could virtually do the event. They approved a virtual event and hopefully the number of participants will stretch out across the United States. The family and freinds have created an event with several options to participate but they currently only have 1 virtual event. I never met this man but everything I have heard about him has been positive. Will you choose to honor him as well?
