Back to the Flags

This was an exciting 2 hour journey. We covered around 5 miles with 3 of those in the woods. It was in honor of one of the Red Wood Originals, Abraham, AKA”Angry Preacher”.  But wait, let’s call up the Angry Preacher to  lead us in a cool down. I don’t know if you’ve ever done a Dive Bomber Merkin before, but there is nothing cool down about it.

COT  Convergence=Togetherness=Brotherhood

Looking around at this massive circle of HIMs you see great father figures, great influential friends, prayer warriors, etc. This is what keeps us strong as men. True brothers pray together, laugh together, cry together, carry each others burdens and stand strong together as one.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better off than one, because together they can work more effectively. If one of them falls down, the other can help him up. But if someone is alone and falls, it’s just too bad, because there is no one to help him. If it is cold, two can sleep together and stay warm, but how can you keep warm by yourself. Two people can resist an attack that would defeat one person alone. A rope made of three coeds is hard to break.

Proverbs 27:17 As one piece of iron sharpens another, so friends keep each other sharp.

Special Thanks

  • To the kitchen crew
  • the station Qs
  • The entire PAX for making it happen
