Warm-up:

SSH – ICx14

Mosey to bottom of the parking deck ramps.  Partner up with someone of similar running ability for “catch me if you can” Partner 1 does 12 merkins, Partner 2 runs backwards up the ramp. When partner 1 finishes merkins, runs up the ramp to catch partner 2. Alternate who does merkins and who runs backwards.  Repeat all the way to the top of the parking deck.

Mosey down the staircase by the elevators.

Mini ER laps (crowd pleaser).  Similar to Original ER, but only within the parking deck.  Run up the staircase for 20 merkins, back down for 20 American Hammers, across to the other staircase and up to the top for 20 merkins, back down for 20 American Hammers = 1 lap.  AMRAP until time is called, subtracting 1 merkin and American Hammer each lap.

Plank Jacks and 6″ while waiting at the bottom of the parking deck for everyone to finish their lap.

Mosey back to the flag.

YHC thought that the Mini-ER laps would somehow be easier because of less merkins and less running….WRONG.  Less time to catch your breath between stairwells meant huffing and puffing after only a few laps.  We did the Mini-ER for a little less than 30 minutes, but it felt like much longer than that.  PAX got between 5-7 laps
