What a PERFECT day for a workout – mid 50’s and a refreshing breeze blowing. (and at least one unrefreshing breeze!)

We gathered on the patio in front of Mackie Furniture and at 5:30am headed off for a short mosey to the Warehouse District for this:

  • Butt Kickers x 10 IC

  • Wall Sit – with OH Claps

Mosey to the wall by Radio Shack:

  • Alternating Step Ups x 16 IC
  • Incline Merkins x 10 IC
  • Plank Walking
  • Donkey Kicks – feet on top of wall, hands on sidewalk
  • Plank Walks – hands on top of wall, then hands on sidewalk – alternating
  • Lunge Walk across parking lot
  • Squats in the Grass
  • Box Jumps x 10 OYO

Mosey to FBCGF and grab 2 bricks:

  • Kneeling Curls x 20 IC
  • Skull Crushers x 15 IC
  • OH Claps with Bricks x 15 IC
  • Flyes with feet at 45 degrees with Bricks x 15 IC
  • Rows from Plank Position with Bricks
  • Brick Burpees x 10 OYO

Put Bricks up – Mosey to wall again:

  • Monkey Humpers on the ledge x 10 IC
  • Donkey Kicks x 10 IC
  • Tricep Dips x 15 IC
  • Plank Walk till ran out of Wall

WOD:  YHC read a quote from Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” and then read from Ephesians 4:11-13 where it says “he gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some to be pastors and terachers…”  Guys, many of us have not heard God’s call on our lives because of the clutter in front of us.  Allow us to throw off those things and clearly hear the call of God on our lives as He has equipped us and called us to do specific things for the Kingdom.  Allow us to NOT be Comfortably Numb any longer, but instead to get up from the pews and go to Lumberton, go to the Soup Kitchen, go to our neighbor and be obedient to our calling.  Let’s go!

My goal for this morning’s time together:  Full Body Workout, Practice Good Form on our various exercises as opposed to focus on how many reps we could get, enjoy a time of fellowship and encouragement…and have FUN!.  IMHO (In My Humble Opinion) all this was achieved – at least for me.  Love you guys!

By the way…who farted in the grass in the Warehouse District???  10 extra burpees for you!  You know who you are!! 🙂
