Soaked to the bone Moleskin:
If you’ve never done a Turkish Getup in puddles, then you ain’t livin’ right. It didn’t take long for the PAX to find out what it is to be what YHC calls “P200 wet”. Ask Abraham or Taz what this means…they know. The three amigos this morning ran up and down hills, exercised, laughed, and even sang (albeit badly) in the rain as we worked our way through 2.1 miles.

COT/BOM:
YHC shared with the PAX that he lived in this area (11th Street) and spent lots of time at the JC Park from 2nd to 7th grade. He logged thousands of miles on his bike (seemed like that), smoked cigarettes (yes, his mother found out), built forts in the woods, and threw dirt clods in major battles against those evil 10th street kids. He had some great times and some not so great, including the divorce of his parents, in this neighborhood. YHC reminded the PAX that he was actually thankful for those experiences, both the good and the bad, because he knows now that this set the trajectory for his life, his faith in Christ, the strength of his marriage, and the relationship that he has with others.
God has a message to all of us (Philippians 3:13). That message is to forget what is behind and look toward what is ahead. To press on with Him by our side as he calls us heavenward.

An honor to lead this morning

Aye!
