Q: Gump Got Gumption

WARMUP: Gump led some of the early stuff at the stage – ssh, jump ropes, m. Phelps, LBACs, a new one called “car dealers” (apologies @jake brake), windmills and alternating toe touches.
THE THANG: Medball and Thin Mint ventured off to find the dog that took Thin Mint’s leg 🦵 from last week and “give ‘em da bidness” 🔧 🐩 🩸. The three stragglers grabbed our 3 balls and moseyed to the bball courts for some 3 point shooting, round the worlds, games of knockout. Misses or losing out in rounds often meant penalties of sprints or 50/100 counts of everything from flutter kicks to LBCs, merkins etc. back to the stage after Gump just embarrassed himself (I blame it on my smaller, blue ball I was using). It’s tough playing with blue balls as we all know.
MARY: back to the stage for some group clamshells, flutters, and other stuff I vaguely remember ANNOUNCEMENTS: 7th year anniversary station 🚉.
COT: as a disciple Peter was much like us or perhaps we are much like Peter. At one moment, we can be faith filled and brimming with christs love and the Holy Spirit and the next, questioning and doubtful. Thats okay and is to be expected – but even in those moments of doubt, it is important to continue to engage through prayer, devotionals, etc because those moments of doubt tend to be fleeting whereas the word of god and the love of Christ are eternal and will always be there when needed.
