So this all started 8 years ago when F3 Taylorsville was planted. there are several men that come to mind that i would like to say thank you to personal. Now please forgive me cause i don’t remember all their names so ill call out their groups. But huge shout out to the F3 Crossroads men that came to little ol Taylorsville 8 years ago to help plant our group. Also thank you to Plank, Abraham, and countless others from F3 Hickory that also help plant our group. It’s hard to believe we’ve been at this for 8 years if I’m being honest I almost didn’t make it back out for my second workout. I had never been so sore in my life. In the last 8 years I’ve seen men come and go. But for the ones who stayed I’ve seen so much growth physically and mentally. I’ve seen family bonds grow strong and I’ve seen friendships grow stronger. And that’s just it that’s what F3 is all about. To come as an individual and leave as brothers. So huge thank you to everyone that has pushed me to be where I am in my F3 walk and after what I seen 11 men do this morning we have a lot more left to give. The q’s only harder but we are better. So on to how we got where we were this morning. So back in 2022 The Dude had this idea to make us think about our q’s as we put them together week in and week out. To push us to be better than what we were. So the idea of the q championship belt was born. each quarter we would put our worst thoughts on paper and led our q’s. At the end of each quarter we would vote for the worst q. A q that we would not want to ever do again. So since 2022 to present we’ve had 5 different winners with 5 totally different q’s. So this morning we had all 5 winning q’s in a box and we drew out 2 of the 5. t
Those would make up our 2 hour beat down this morning. So the 2 winning q’s were Hold my Wood by Pedro Martini and The Gauntlet by Clifford BRD. So sorry that was long winded and I know you are tired of reading so here’s how it all went down.

now just a brief description of the other 3 q that didn’t get picked. Merkin Bear Crawl by Powerband. now at Copperhead Creek we have a Creek that runs through the middle of the park and part of the track runs down both sides of the creek. so little had us bear crawl that inside track and had to mix in 100 merkins.

Victory Ladder by The Dude. not gonna lie I don’t know much about this one cause I’m 2 for 2 of not having to do it. but it goes a little something like this. it’s a Jacob’s ladder but in the sahpe of a V. start at one point with exercise murder bunny to mid point some exercise the murder bunny down to 3rd point and continue you ladder exercise. I’ve heard that when this was originally down it had 0 finishers. and I also heard today that it’s coming to an AO near you. you have been warned.

Finally The Wheel of Death by 3-Dog. this is probably one of the worst spokes I’ve ever done. start with 4 burpees at the hub, run out to 1 of 7 pain stations do that exercise, then run a lap around that half of the park back to the hub and do it all over again until you do all 7 stations. the exercises were 100 merkins, 100 flutter kicks, 200 squats, 100 curls for girls, 250 pound tire carry 10 yards and back, bear crawl 10 yards lunge walk back, and 100 ssh.

Super proud of the effort everyone put in this morning this was not easy. but each man pushed themselves hard. we had some tore up knees from a trip and fall, 2 pax found some yellow jackets, and our boy Pedro Martini came through and gave us a big tall glass of grade A Merlot at the top of tower hill. ok with that being said here’s to what comes next for F3 Taylorsville, but not only us but F3 Foothills as a whole. have a great day and Happy Father’s Day to all the dads in our region.
