The Thang
We left TI and headed towards downtown. While rucking, I wanted to throw in a few exercises while wondering around. I planned to hit 2 miles rucking with some samples along the way. We headed to the bottom of pawn shop hill and we bear crawled back up. It was all good until we almost got run over. We then ended up at the courthouse where we did some plank taps (or whatever Plank calls them) against the wall. We then wandered around some steps a little while before checking out the newest parking deck in town. Someone was chucked to do partner Merkins and another almost got a name change to Face Off due to Publix not supporting him enough, or another reason.
We wandered down the steps and then rucked to the bank and raccoon crawled across the parking lot. I found several more sets of steps and we kept going up and down them. We completed 3 sets of calf raises before heading back towards the AO. Along the way we did an Indian Run with rucks and then tiptoed along a wall to get to the road. We got back and hit 2 miles.
This was a great time with some fellow weirdos and enjoy introducing others to rucking. On. Side note, a ruck is being planned for the evening of June 19th. We plan to cover 5ish miles.
