Hey Cuz, what happened to the Country Club Camp we rented last time?  Long story short:  they wanted 2x the price we paid last time.  Sorry, but also not sorry.  Q of Dad’s Camp felt that that higher price would limit a lot of participants and we do not want to do that.

Agenda is TBD.  Full disclosure, this camp is a bit more ‘campy’ than Timberlake.  The facilities are fine, but they’ve been through a few more campers so let’s call them more Loved.  There are several large cabins that have small rooms with an assorted number of bunks in each room.  The Q of Housing will try his best to make sure that your request to be my Inside Spoon is fulfilled, but please note that’s a pretty popular request so get in line, Hoss.  Word to the wise, the sooner you pay Q of Ducketts, the easier it will be to honor your request.

Housekeeping items:

We currently have the zip line rented for 4 hours on Saturday and the climbing tower for 2 hours.  This may change so feel free to provide your input on that.  If you know that your shortie wants to climb for the entire day, let me know and we’ll consider adding more time.

All of the 2019 participants will recall the struggle w/ the swimming.  My favorite memory of that was hearing my skin sizzle like fatback in the sun while I jealously watched Plank bobbing in the water.  This will not be an issue this year.  Swimming in the pool and lake is open all day.  However, please note 2 things:  anyone in the lake at any time is required to have a PDF on.  Bringing your own PFD is highly encouraged.  You are also allowed to bring your own canoe, SUP, kayak.  The other thing is that – as of now – there is not a lifeguard for either the pool or the lake.  If you are a registered lifeguard, please let me know.  Otherwise, we will responsible for monitoring both the lake and pool.  The zip line will have an attendant, however.

There is a sliding rock that’s roughly a one mile hike away.  There’s also a trail that leads to a firetower w/ awesome views.

Disk golf is BYO.

Highly recommend to bring a floor fan.

There are simply not enough horses to open that up as an option.
