At the beginning of each week I try to look at the Q schedule to check to see if I am on the calendar. I do this so the M and I can figure out which morning each of us is taking. Well at ER Monday Cuz says to me “what you got on the docket for tomorrow at Howitzer?” My response “I don’t have the Q tomorrow” but as soon as I get to the car after COT I take a look and… YEP I sure do. So needing to switch out of Tuesday I immediately text CrossStitch (who stood me up prerunning so I knew he would be willing to switch haha) if he would switch Qs with me from Tuesday to Wednesday. That is how I ended up on the Q at arrow this morning.
The thang:
58F and drizzling which apparently made a lot of people press snooze.
Run down through Hutton Estates and turn up Lake Road back towards 6th Street. Take a right onto 14th and then immediately onto Powder’s circle. Meander around past Squints’ house back to 14th. Cross 6th St continuing on 14th till we got to 127. Then head towards St. Lukes to 18th Ave to do a flyby past HBC’s house. Once we got to the tennis courts take a left and head back to the flag.
COT: “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” Theodore Roosevelt
Things heard this morning (all from different PAX):
“I’m so excited, a Compact Disk I ordered is coming in.”
“I’m not saying I would do it but the drug dealer lifestyle… I could see the appeal”
“Have you not heard of the Hippos from Pablo Escobar and his zoo”
“No this wood filler is because my dog ate the bottom of the door frame”
“Oh I definitely would have gotten lost and somehow ended up behind Target”
