First time Rucking- it was ruckin awesome.

I had no idea what to do but figured it would be a good wing type Q. 

Path- Walk out of TI- Head past the Salt Center, to Frye and up the parking deck/ down the parking deck, turn on the citywalk and walk the traintracks under the new Wood structure.

Progressive exercise that is frequently used in RAM- Each stop we added the following exercise. Each stop you would repeat each exercise and complete one more exercise.

 

First stop- 5 “Ruck ups” aka- Romanian Ruck ups- lay down and get up with only one hand or no hands.

Second stop- 5 ruck ups, 10 merkins oyo

Third stop- 5 ruck ups, 10 merkins, 15 Overhead press with the ruck

At the top of the Parking deck- Wheelbarrow walk with the ruck halfway across

Fourth stop- 5 ruck ups, 10 merkins, 15 OHP, 20 Squats

Fifth stop- Tricep dips IC 15

Mumblechatter is an A plus. I wanted to push the pace in typical Ferdinand fashion. I enjoyed getting to talk to the pax and all the jokes

The new Ruck up had quite a few names. They suck though and I completely underestimated the difficulty originally saying to get up not using any hands.

Pax stated that the new gateway/ wood structure  looks like female body part when you’re on the Citywalk. We all chuckled and I will never look at it the same. Thanks for the laughs City of Hickory.

 

 

WOD- You can be a leader while maintaining a nice demeanor. I have a hard time with this and shared a recent experience on how I give too much. As leaders we must be firm in our expectations and follow through.
