Monday’s are hard. Especially with ER thrown in there. Monday is extra hard.

Warm it up

SSH’s, Little Arm Circles, Humpsters, etc.

We moseyed behind the ER parking deck and YHC had some coupons to hand out to the PAX.

Partner up. but first 10 burpees

We moseyed down to the lower parking lot

Spoke style. but first 10 burpees

One partner ran to the top of a hill and did 10 Burpees, the other stayed behind and did Curls with block.

once both went the next exercise was 15 lunges, the other stayed behind and did OHP’s with block.

once both went the next exercise was 20 imperials, the other stayed behind and did Bent Over Rows with block.

Mosey to bottom of steep hill behind parking deck. but first 10 burpees

One partner ran the peremiter, parimater. pa rim uh tour? ….. one partner ran around the parking deck and then did 10 Merkins, the other did Squats.

next, one partner ran around the deck and then did 15 Plank Jacks (15 each leg, so really 30), the other did Lunges.

next, one partner ran around the deck and did 20 Squats while the other did Kettle Bell Swings.

Out of time so we inconspicuously (and I spell that correctly on my first try) hid the blocks behind the parking deck. (shhhh)

David Goggins is a bad dude.

Not a role model. Not someone you want to babysit your kids… but he’s a bad dude.

If you want to see “passion”, “mindset’ and “drive”, I don’t know a more inspiring person. Take a YouTube break and look that guy up or read his book, you won’t be sorry. (Just don’t watch that around your kids or at work..)  Caution: LANGUAGE 🙁

Getting to the point:

Goggins is SO passionate, SO driven and SO intense that he inspires people to DO MORE, BE MORE, and NEVER COMPROMISE. Which is a great thing if you want to be better at something. It’s hard not to pick up on some of that passion.

As I was pondering over the weekend and reading a little bit, this thought hit me…

“What if I was that passionate about my faith?”

“What if I was that passionate about righteousness?”

“What if I was that intense about my relationships?”

“What if I had a “no compromise” mission about who I am in Christ?”
