First time back at Arrow in a while. That’s what putting a mix of dudes on the Q list will get ya…guys that may not normally hit that AO, or that haven’t in a while. Good on ya Retread.

Typical Arrow opener:

0515 – Announcements, Count, Name-O-Rama, Word of the Day

WOD – Given the past few months we’ve experienced, I turned to a passage from Phillipians for the WOD:

Phil 4:6 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me — everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”

I need to fix my thoughts on what’s true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Maybe we all do.

The Thang –

The route was a simple downtown loop. From Corinth take 4th St Dr toward downtown. Left at the light at Oakwood, 4th Ave, to bottom of Cemetery Hill, Right on 2nd St toward the Square. Right through Union Square.

Here I was the only chump that headed straight back toward Corinth. All the other PAX kept on down the RR tracks to 9th St. They circled around back to 6th St so I got a bit of a lead. I was quickly caught and passed by the fast guys, and eventually Phlegm. Made it back to the parking lot just before the rest of the PAX. 4.3mi for me, more for everybody else.

Enjoyed my return to Arrow after probably 8-9 mos, excuses like injury, fart sacking, and general laziness mostly to blame. Let’s don’t let it be so long before the next time.

G, out
