QIC:  Patti Mayo

It wasn’t brought to YHC’s attention that the Q for the Mount was his until the day before. So what do you do when you are Qing one of the parade of horribles?? You think of a few of the most horribleist things you’ve done at that AO and a few others and mash them all together…..so that’s kinda what happened.

4 PAX showed up for Pre-Run and were greeted by 10 other gents ready and raring for a beatdown upon their return…..and here’s how it went.

Warm ups, yada yada.

Took off out of parking lot and headed toward the retirement home loop. Stopping a couple times along the way for 14ish 3 count merkins. YHC was very close to hitting the 2020 mark so upper body was the focus today.

After a lap we stopped at the side parking lot for a round of Asheville Abs. Yogi had done 14 one day a few months ago at the Tower cause it was the 14th of that month. It was terrible. Fits right into the parade. We also had 14 PAX this morning so that was kinda the magic number anyways so that’s what we did….14 AA’s. We then moseyed another 3/4 lap around the retirement home with a sprinkle of merkins and ended up at the rear of retirement home for the meat of the workout.

Took an example lap to show the PAX what the dealio was. Flex had the idea for a mini ER at the Mount while back….it was also terrible; almost horrible if you will. So let’s do it. Start at the bottom of the hill behind the retirement home where the asphalt changes color. 5 burpees, run up the hill to the far corner by walgreens, 5 burpees. run in front of walgreens to where the drive through starts, 5 burpees; run behind walgreens to the corner by the top of the hill, you guessed it, 5 burpees. Finish the lap back where you started. start back over with 5 burpees at each stop since that was just the Demo lap and drop one burpee per lap till you get to 1. IT, WAS, HORRIBLE. Mission Accomplished. Slowsey back and Finish back at the flag.

COT focused on being a light in a crazy world.

YHC is a big fan of the POH. YHC enjoys traveling to different AO’s and highly encourages everyone to post in an unfamiliar area every once in a while. Great way to meet new people and get new ideas for horrible stuff to do at workouts. Always a pleasure gentlemen!
