I haven’t q’d in Hickory in almost 2, shoot make that three years. So when Patti Mayo said he needed someone to substitute for him today at howitzer, I figured what the heck. Here’s how it went down…
Warmup.
The usual side straddle hops, arm circles, imperial storm troopers, etc.
Then we moseyed around Hickory, stopping for some partner exercises. We did 10 Burpee‘s and some Merkins in front of CrossFit Hickory. We did LBCs and box cutters at First Baptist, then tricep dips and squats at First Presbyterian. We then moseyed to a dark alley where we rinsed a repeated a alternating sprint/backward run lamppost workout.
We then moseyed back to the parking lot for some Mary…boat/canoe, pretzels, and American hammers.
WOD: From Ecclesiastes 4. What I really think should be the official F3 scripture. One man can be easily overtaken, two can fight back to back, but a cord of three strands is not easily broken. Hold each other accountable and reach out to a brother who has been missing in action.
