QIC:  Flamer

8 men, yeah 8, not Nueve Ocho dummy, got up this morning for The Whipping Stick!

I’m nursing a minor groin injury from the Championship adult soccer league game on Thursday and I knew most of the guys were Doubling down for the Horrible 5K, so I was up last night thinking how can I make this tough but not too much legs or running.  Here’s how it went!

warmup: SSH, Humpys, IST, Windmills

Mosey over to my truck to get the blocks….the guys were super jealous of my work boots!  (Especially Cuz Eddie)

Block work: each man did 50 Kettlebell, 100 Overhead press, 150 Bent over rows, 200 curls, and 250 Bench press and each ran approx. 1.25 miles

We divided this up in 1/4 to make it more manageable.

Ab work: Flamers, LBC’s, Bench Tucks, Asheville ABs (led by Goodwill), Dying Cockroaches, Superman

Finish with 3 one legged burpees for WS tradition.

There was a little bit of mumble chatter:  Crop was lusting after Cuz belly shirt, then Crop and Flex Seal starting talking about gay bars and it all went down hill from there…I guess you had to be there.

Some leaders delight in their successes or their strategies but “real” leaders should delight in the Lord!
