OG. It’s an oddball for sure. The AO itself is probably one of our best in Unifour as the Hickory Daily Record calls it. We all joke about it being creepy and whatnot, but I swear that place is like F3 Manna.
The only thing missing is Pax.
Weather: Foggy. This added an extra layer of creepiness to the dark, empty parking lot.
Thang:
Lap around parking lot to allow for any late dudes. There weren’t any.
Mosey to playground area. Keep in mind that it is dark. No moon visible. It’s foggy as pea soup out there. I’m solo. I see a figure walking towards me on the street. What little i can see, it appears to be a shortish creature. Very skinny with loose tattered clothing hanging from it’s thin frame. I was sure that it was either an extra from the show Walking Dead or a ghost, I couldn’t quite tell. Once I got closer….just an old lady out for a walk. Good thing I held off on giving her the shank for another second or two, that could have been weird.
Anyway, head to playground area. 10 pull ups. Or at least as pull uppy as I can get. Dammit, I suck at those.
Then some squats.

Mosey through greenway. Fog is lifting. No zombies or ghosts were reported. Life is good. The Me Time was actually pretty nice. Thought about lots of stuff: how awesome it is to have someone to work out with, how great F3 is, zombies are scary, so are ghosts, Burke County must have pulled a dick move on some odd land grab down by the lake…wonder what that’s about, John’s Tavern is really odd, this is how Abraham felt when he posted solos to ER for so long….dang that old lady was scary.
