QIC:  Doughboy

10 #HIM appeared in the gloom at The Mount this Tuesday morning knowing that the Q, who shall remain nameless, was not going to be there.  He forgot, failed to secure a replacement, blah blah blah.  Anyway, the weather was almost ideal although it was a little muggy.  Knowing that the Q was not going to be there, YHC sent a note Monday afternoon to The Mount PAX telling them that it would be a “round robin” sort of experience.

The Warm UP:

Has Been got us started with Side Straddle Hops and Humpies

Doughboy led ATT and Little Arm Circles (forward and reverse).

Enough of warm ups, let’s get some exercise in.  Mosey to the blocks, grab one and let’s get started. Random PAX called an exercise and we got after it.

Doughboy – Block Webbs (in honor of our missing Q), descending circuit 10 – 1

Short Sale – Block Big Boy Situps, descending circuit 10 – 1

Sinkhole – 14 lunges, bear crawl, crawl bear, bear crawl, 14 jump squats, bear crawl, crawl bear, bear crawl

Reading Rainbow – Curls for the Girlz, Dips, Step Ups, descending circuit 10 – 1

Biscuits – Burpee, but the merkin was 7 Hand Release Merkins, and the jump at the end was 7 jump squats, descending circuit 7 – 1

Swanson – Block on the shelf – 10 reps

Dragonfly – Indian Run, leading us back to the flag.

There was still a good 7-8 minutes left so we did Asheville Abs (Doughboy), American Hammers (Cousin Eddie), Box Cutters (Has Been), and 15 Big Boy Situps (Dragonfly) to finish.

Done with the workout, time for the COT, Name a Rama, and WOD.  WOD was continue to lift each other up, pray for each other.  We’re all facing something and need the support of each other.  No man is an island.

Great job by the men of The Mount to call some pretty tough exercises on the fly.
