QIC:  Markup

Several pax have been rucking each Friday so YHC decided to make the workout official.  I had something planned so I wanted to wait until the Tuna runners were back because 2 runners were also consistent ruckers.  I made the announcement that we would start an official workout and the time would change to 5:15a to give us a little extra time to Ruck 3 miles.

4 pax posted at 4:30 to do a preruck and we covered about 2.9 miles before returning to the AO to pick up anyone else that would arrive for Ruck ‘N’ Roll and saw three pax, including 2 FNRs (Friendly New Ruckers).  We greeted each other and took off.

We wandered around Hickory with extra weight on our shoulders talking about anything and everything and laughing consistently.  We discussed that after over 4 years of F3 workouts in Hickory, 4 of the remaining 5 REDWOOD ORIGINALS were out early in the morning with packs on.  We ended up back in the parking lot for COT and realized that none of us were dry any longer but we still had a great time.  We also noticed as the RAM group was heading back to the flag that we outnumbered them!!!

 

Afterwards we circled up for COT and I wanted to say thanks to everyone for coming out so I gave them a patch I had designed.  I hope they liked it and I have more for others who join us in the future.
