Several months ago we started Rucking on Friday at RAM and we have consistently had a few pax post to get better. Udder Butter would cross the creek and Ruck with us and then he decided to start a ruck workout in Granite Falls. Last week Granite Falls had 11 pax and Flex Seal thought we should have a Convergence. We met at OG and went out for about a 2.5 mile preruck and as we were heading back we started seeing cars pulling in the parking lot. Plank was ready and took us on a 3 mile route down the greenway, along the roads, and through a field. During this Ruck, we had fun, laughed, and had great fellowship. Udder Butter even stepped on Stitch but all was good. Rucking is continuing to grow in the Hickory region and all are welcome to come out. You can carry a pack, wear a weight vest, or just come walk with us. There are currently 4 weirdos from Hickory that will travel to Atlanta in January to complete 2 GORUCK events. One will last 12+ hours and the 2nd one will last about 6 hours. We are excited about going and would like anyone interested to join us. We will attend other, shorter events in the future so if you are interested them let us know. Hopefully we can continue Ruck Convergences and may have other activities planned in the future too.
