QIC:  Cousin Eddie

Here we go.  Another backblast.  Hey Patty, looks like it’s just me and you for now.  Sprinkle in the occasional Fuse BB and that’s about it.  Pretty soon, this will be our personal blog.

Weather:  Hot.  Muggy.

Warmup: SSH x5 IC

1 lap of Original ER

Plank for the six at the corner

Mosey under deck, past the Blair Witch house – have you seen that thing?  It’s a creepy looking joint – to small hill on the backside of deck.

Starting at bottom of hill, run to the top of the left stairwell.  At top, 20 Hand Release Merkins, down 1 level for 15 HR M, down another for 10 HR M, down again for 5 HR M, mosey to the bottom of hill, run to the top of the right stairwell.  At top: 20 V Ups, down for 15, down for 10, down for 5.

Plank for the 6

Small hill repeats – x5

Mosey to bottom of Hospital Hill.  Looky what’s waiting for us at the bottom?  Our friends, the Little Sand Babies.  There were only 5 LSB’s (YHC underestimated attendance today), so I had to improvise.  5 of you clowns grab a LSB and run 3/4 of the way up HHill.  Rest of you jokers do burpees until we get back. When we get back, flapjack.  If you don’t have an LSB run all the way up HH and back.  Repeat.

Grab an LSB and leave it 1/2 way up HH for some other toolbelt to pick up and carry to the top.  Plank for the 6.

Mosey to the top of stairwell w/ LSBs in tow.  20 Merkins

Had to pull one from the Book of Abe:  10 burpees for not planking for the six.

Some other folk pick up LSBs to bottom of stairs:  20 LBCs

Mosey to top of opposite stairwell w/ LSB’s: 20 merkins, 20 LBCs.

2 minutes left.  Mosey back to flag for WOD, etc.

Special props go to HBC for the following:

  • pre running to AO
  • pre running to AO while carrying a mini-shovel flag

The flag was brought b/c our Site Q was not able to post.  His story was that he was at Dirty Myrtle with his family.  Although this serves as a valid excuse for this week, the last 20 weeks without a shovel flag seem to be sans excuse and invalid.

Proud to see some new faces out there in the gloom:  Flex Seal, Daphne, and Mary Kate.  Keep it up fellas.

C E out.
