Ok Boys, Im gonna make this short and sweet because I’m writing this, sitting at a picnic table outside our little cabin at the KOA campground in Asheville….where the wireless internet only works at a normalish speed between the hours of 1 AM and 8ish AM….the rest of the time its kinda like dial up internet (for those of you too young to remember AOL and IM and all those beauties; which cuts out about 1/2 of our clan!!) . And, not to brag, but I haven’t ever missed posting a backblast (Thats right Cuz, check the data) so I wasn’t going to let a day of leaving Q stop me from posting this little work of art.

Here it goes…. Warm ups…ssh, humptys, merkins, ATT, thats it.

YHC didnt have a chance to pack the tire or logs or any of the other kinky stuff that YHC has been known for bringing to the Stick in the past so today was a good ol fashioned beat down.  One lap around the parking lot to warm up; 1/2 way through Cuz in even later than Jordache style comes cruisin in…..sanz shoes and socks mind you….so we proceeded to line up in front of where he was sitting on the ground and did a nice little 10ct monkey humpers to welcome him to the workout.

Partner up; (Cuz did make 10, so with an even number it was tough to get all but so upset) One partner works while the other does a lap around the parking lot….100 Merkins, 200 LBC’s, 300 Squats.  Would call an audible somewhere in the realm of 50-100 or so squat left just because.

Take a right out of the school and head down to the hill next to what we discovered looks like a sad 3 eyed monster with the way the windows are situated on the side of the school; check it out next time ur there! Individual work, start at the school sign on the pavement and run to the first sign on your left…. Ladder of 7; burpees at the bottom and merkins at the top…plank or keep running for the 6.  We then broke into the senior community to give a couple of our pax (not to mention any names) a tour of what the not so distant future could look like. Some Abs at the opposite entrance/exit to let everyone catch up.  Proceed up to the church for a couple pull ups.  With a partner, 50 pull ups b/w the 2 of you, not up pulling partner lunges while he waits on his turn at the bar.  Head back to the Flag, stop for a little MARY at the corner before the hill leading to the school, and thats all folks.

COT-We talked about enjoying time with your family and trying to see past all of the potential frustrations that could potentially accompany vacation and try to remember that we are making memories that hopefully will last our kids a lifetime and maybe even translate over into their lives as traditions one day!
