YHC was humbled to have the honor of kicking off Summer ’18 at everyone’s favorite AO – The ER! Surprisingly cool morning – little humidity, clear skies, slight breeze and temps in the low 60’s. Our resident cold weather expert Powder still had on short sleeves! Here’s how we spent our 46 minutes (yes we get two stars for an extended workout)
Warmups – the usuals – SSH, Humptees, ATT – all IC
Mosey to the steps of 1st Pres where we did Calf Raises and Tricep Dips on the wall. Discovered that Fuse is a liberal Presbyterian (not just Retread) and Cuz has been to a couple of weddings there.
Mosey to the block pile at 1st Baptist. Whole lotta crap leftover from the garage sale on Saturday. Items of note included a vintage hard sided suitcase, bathroom sink, cassette tape based MBA course, broken golf bag caddy. Exercise was 50 Bench Press, 30 Curlz for the Girlz, 20 Overhead Press then lap around the garage sale mess X 3!
Mosey to the Oakwood Elementary parking lot where Goodwill stepped up and led us in a round of Asheville Abs 5 Count
Mosey through the Cemetery where we did some hill repeats. Sprint (jog) up the hill then do 20 Incline Merkins on guard rail X 3!
Mosey to bottom of Hospital Hill for a short pause (let fat Beaker catch his breath). Lively jog (almost sprint) up Hospital Hill ending up on our Sixes in The Tree of Life parking lot. RBC’s X 20 OYO.
Mosey to top of parking deck the long way – up the ramp
At the top all seven of us started doing Incline Merkins on the railing then runner one descended the stairs while the pax continued presses. Once runner ran out of the stairwell he hollered up to the next person to “Go!”. Repeated till we were all down.
