QIC:  HBC

13 strong went for run this morning at Arrow. YHC moved the BOM to the front of the lineup and then we ran. After sharing a word on the back story of the hymn “Amazing Grace” (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/three-hymn-stories-to-lif_b_3824219 if you want to read more) we prayed, donned safety gear, and proceeded to the route.

Conditions: 54 degrees and clear

The Thang:
The PAX ran one of YHC’s favorites and what he refers to as the Lake Loop (http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/2048477554). It featured a 6.2 miles route of rolling terrain, a view of Lake Hickory at sunrise, and a sneaky 350 ft. of ascent.

Moleskin:
Steady and solid work by the men of Arrow this morning. YHC originally counted 12, but at some point Retread snuck in like a Ninja. If you are reading this and have never run Arrow, I would suggest you join us sometime. It’s a great way to start a Wednesday. YHC has definitely seen progress in himself and those men that attend this pure running workout regularly. You’ll find a pace that suits you, guys that will push you if you want, and you’ll never be left behind.

As always, it was an honor to Q Hickory’s premier Wednesday morning running workout.
