And in every bed, not a creature was stirring, not even Cousin Ed.
The running shoes of many were cozied away, yet 10 brave men took on the rain without delay.
From the dreary gloom of Corinth, down 4th they ran. All the way to 1st Ave, they believed they can.
Dodging the rain, up 127 they flew. But only for a moment, for next was LRU.
Galloping down 5th street, we went on our way. Only to see the fastest go on with their day.
Now to the mountain by Hickory High School. Maybe, just maybe, each man thought “What a fool.”
Running by the lights of Lowe’s Food and Lowe’s Hardware. The 10 bold men and their legs had paid their fare.
As we finished, some much sooner than others. We parted our ways, fist bumping our brothers.
Back in my car with a towel on my back. I thought to myself, I’m glad I didn’t fartsack.
——————-
Good run this morning, men.
WOD:
Recycled Romans 1:16 (after these were runners here – they don’t typically frequent the normal AOs)
Moleskin:
There are three types of people in this world:
- Thunderdome/Fuse/Herniator and Friends who are stupid fast.
- The rest of us.
- Cousin Eddie.
Merry Christmas!
