QIC:  Sooner

Before the workout one of Hickory’s finest stopped by to warn us of a black bear sighting near the post office 10 minutes prior.  It was only a cub though, no big deal.  And there were 7 of us, 85.7% chance you wouldn’t be the one mauled to death by a bear cub (or the momma bear).

Started out with some SSHx11 IC and ATTx10IC

Mosey to the bottom of cemetery hill.  Some mumble chatter along the way about how this isn’t RAM/Arrow etc.  YHC was so inspired by Fuse’s Hill-o-ween celebration today (running repeats up Elanor hill for an hour), I thought we could try and run up/down cemetery hill for the duration of the work out, with a twist.

“Catch Me If You Can” – Find a partner

Partner 1 – Run backwards up the hill

Partner 2 – Do 10 merkins, then chase after Partner 1 (running forwards)

Mosey back to bottom of the hill, alternate who runs backwards/does exercises

Each PAX did 3 rounds of Merkins-10 reps, 3 rounds of Divebomber merkins-4 reps, 3 rounds of Squats – 6 reps

YHC planned to do this for the entire workout, but had to call an audible, the hill got the better of me.

Indian Run to First Baptist for some block work…Audible #2, no blocks.  But, there were some bricks.

American Hammers x 15IC (2 bricks per Pax), lateral arm raisesx15, front arm raisesx15, overhead pressx15

Rinse and repeat with 10 reps of each, then 5 reps of each

Mosey back to the flag for some Mary.  Each Pax led an exercise

Flutter Kicks, Pretzels, Funyuns?, Plank with leg drops, 6″, LBCs

Announcements – bring some blocks to howitzer if you have some laying around (no Cousin Eddie, not the sketchy ones you dug up in your yard and took to OG)
