7 PAX showed up to take a “wild” ride on the Hindenburg BLIMP as it successfully landed in Granite Falls. And like the Original in 1937, this one also “burned”. Here’s how the workout went down.
Warm-ups – x 15 reps
- Side straddle hop
- Humpies
- Little arm circles
- Windmills
- Alternating toe touch
Moseyed to Granite Drug parking lot where “Q” explained the concept
10 Burpees – run to corner, 10 more burpees, run to next corner 10 burpees, run to last corner 10 burpees. Run back to start – plank until everyone gets finished
20 lunges (each leg) @ each corner
30 Imperial storm troopers @ each corner
40 Merkins @ each corner (who the heck came up with this workout)
50 Plank Jacks @ each corner
60 Squats @ each corner (you’ve got to be kidding me). Burn baby burn, Hindenburg inferno. No disco inferno here.
Ran over by 1 minute, but moseyed back to Flag
Count off and name-o-rama
Word of the Day (Galatians 6:9) – Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. We discussed that many of us are multi-tasking – Family, Church, Bible Study, Work, F3, as well as other activities, but if we are doing it for the Lord we must “not” give up. We may not see great rewards now, but our ultimate award awaits us in Heaven.

Udder Butter announced a mission trip with First Baptist, Hickory so we’ll keep that in our prayers. Several prayer concerns were stated and “Q” led the prayer lifting those up.
I know these men probably wish I would stay off of the Lexicon to come up with these workouts, but hey, it is what it is. I didn’t even need my laminated sheet for this one.
Men of GF, it’s always my pleasure and honor to lead you in these F3 workouts. Thanks for the opportunity and as always, I’ll see you in the Gloom.
2 Ply out!
