5 pax left the Star parking lot behind to travel down the hill to the lake, but YHC wanted to make sure Binary’s heart would not feel downtrodden by lack of parking lottage exercising. BLIMPS get old running back and forth to the same place, so the PAX did some traveling BLIMPS.
Warm-up
20 SSH IC
5 Power Jumps OYO
1 POYH (Put on your headlamp)
At this point, a non-2.0 safe word slipped out of Binary’s mouth and the Pax took off.

Mosey to Wildlife Access Parking Lot
Got to this point and YHC decided to run to the dock at the end for a better view at which point Binary had checked off his TMDR box for F3.

10 Lunges

20 Merkins
25 Plank Jacks
30 Squats
Without the running skeered, YHC took the remaining PAX up Skyline Drive, then up to the top of Hardware Hill, and eventually back to the Star. All in all 3.3 miles, 2 blimps, and one rather large hill climb.
YHC left the PAX with some wise words from Chip Ingram as the WOD: Adversity is an uninvited, unwanted friend in the hands of an all knowing God whose purpose is to wean us of our self-dependency and pride, usher us into deeper intimacy with Jesus, and redirect our paths to insure our greatest good and His greatest glory.
Great words as YHC has encountered his fair share of adversity recently, and God has a purpose for it.
Hot Lips out.
