6 pax started on a journey from the New Testament to the Old as we ran from the #Star to Abraham’s Driveway. 6 well lit and ready pax ran to Chigger ridge and down Davis Cove, roughly 2 miles down hill. Along the way, there were LBCs, merkins, and Star Jumps. The merkins were done in honor of Abraham in his driveway, and there was mumblechatter about doing them on his porch, but YHC didn’t want Betsy to get out her shotgun…after two more miles up 6 pax rose up from the cove to the mount for COT/WOD and announcements.
WOD: “There was a man all alone; he had neither son nor brother. There was no end to his toil, yet his eyes were not content with his wealth. “For whom am I toiling,” he asked, “and why am I depriving myself of enjoyment?” This too is meaningless— a miserable business! Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
Ecclesiastes 4:8-12 NIV
F3 is meant to be a way to form deeper relationships with our brother. Don’t leave one out in the cold!
