QIC:  T-Bone

6 PAX including one FNG showed up this AM for a solid beat down in the gloom at the Whipping Stick.  Mrs. T-Bone did provide some video suggestions which proved rather comical.  Let’s just say we didn’t look quite like the videos and it’s a good thing there were no videos taken.

Moleskin

Patty Mayo brought the FNG and we explained to Jordan (now Pony) that we had very high expectations for someone brought by Patty Mayo.  Turns out Jordan faired pretty well especially considering that he is about to make a career change to the fitness profession full time.

The best comment of the morning was when Taz commented “I bet T-Bone likes it when Mrs. T-Bone  breaks out instructional videos more often.”

It turns out the workout was pretty challenging.  As a Q, you walk the fine line to not gas yourself too much, and yours truly crossed the line a little bit during the Birthday Burpee Suicide drill so we had plenty of time for mumble chatter at that point.

Word of the Day – Personal story about a key milestone in life more than 10 years where I got very serious about reading, studying, and praying over the Bible every day.  Model that behavior for your family and one day encourage your kids to follow you.  Also, Joe Gibbs’ book, A Game Plan for Life, is a recommended read.
