The Stargate AO isn’t what it used to be…and to all the PAX, that is an awesome thing! There were posts by Goodwill & Twin which were welcomed with exuberance as they claim to NOT be runners. Given their desire along with other claims of the non long distance runners to post; YHC created a 1.72 mile loop around the AO that could be modified to perform one to three times to get the full 5 mile effect. Then there was the ‘away from the AO’ loop that was noted to be 5.2 miles per Map My Run. YHC is in training for the SMR and really needed some hills.
So here is what went down…
Weather 32˚F, Partly Cloudy, Wind Calm to 1MPH NNW, Dew Point 31˚F
“Stargate-Close to the AO” (1.72 miles 82 ft of elevation gain)- Modified and completed by Old School, Babyface, Twin & Goodwill
- Harper Ave. East, R- Norwood, R-College, R-Steel, S-West Ave, L-Willow, R-Ashe, R-Mulberry, R-West Ave., L-Church back to the AO. This equals one lap…believe this was completed 2 times…great job men, you are getting stronger.

- Harper Ave. West, L-Willow (Hill 1), L-Spruce, L-Penton, L-Edgewood, R-Grove (Hill 2), R-Main, L-Penton, L-Meadow, R-Highland (Hill 3), R-Hibriten, R-Norwood, R-Harper, L-Hospital (Hill 4), L-Sharon (Hill 5), L-Finley, L-Main, R-Scroggs, L-Vance, L-Willow, L-Ashe (Hill 6), R-Church back to the AO
COT
Going through a trial (like a surgery) there is pain in the surgery & recovery but the end result is worth the pain. God gives us strength to endure. Give God the Glory and Praise for what he brings you through.
Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Friar made a point to post that he finished neck & neck with YHC. Somehow I don’t remember having my neck touch his, but I do recall running down Church to the AO with him.
Lightbulb’s four legged companion “Bailey” has been provided a F3 name of Luke. It was also heard that a PAX wanted to place his Garmin on Luke to get some credit for double the steps today…not sure how that panned out.
YHC was encouraged to see the PAX come out and get stronger especially for the non-long distance runners. I am humbled to workout with all of you HIM. Aye!
