WOD:

1 Corinthians 10:23-24, 31 “All things are lawful, but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful, but not all things build up. Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.” “So whatever you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

The Corinthian church had a question for Paul, “Are we allowed to eat meat that has been offered as a sacrifice to other gods?” Paul’s answer, “Yes, but…” Paul tells them that while they are free to eat the meat that doesn’t necessarily mean they should eat it. While the Corinthians were no longer under the old law of not being allowed to eat “unclean” meat they still couldn’t eat the meat if it meant that it may cause someone else to stumble. Likewise, in the gray areas of Christianity today, we should not participate if it means causing our fellow brother to stumble. As 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, everything we do should be “to the glory of God.”

Moleskin:

We learned today during Lazy Dora’s that Babyface’s 6 inches “is longer than everybody else’s 6 inches.” Followed swiftly by a THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID!!!

Two familiar faces were missing today, Friar and Double Bogey. They must be on vacation Brokeback Mountain style!
