Drying The Football Field

The Lenoir guys have been a little intimidated by the Granite Falls guys lately, and decided to send out Baby Face to take the heat for all of them.  6 Pax showed up this wet morning.

We did warmups, 15 each:

• SSH
• Alt Toe Touches
• Imperial Storm Troopers
• Windmills
• Humpies
• Arm Circles
• Reverse Arm Circles

We mosied to the football field.  We started at one goal post, got shoulder to shoulder, and got in the Merkin position.  The man at the very end would jump up and run stepping over each man in the pax, and drop down at the end in the merkin position.  The next man in line, as soon as the previous man had stepped over him, would jump up and run over the whole pax and also drop down at the end.  Sort of an Indian run concept except everyone one was in the down merkin position, and you stepped over everyone else.  We did this from one goal post to the other, and then back.  We dried up half of the football field with our clothes.

We then partnered up at the end of the football field, where there was hill behind the end zone.  One partner would run up the hill and back down to the bottom while the other partner did an AMRAP of WILLIAM’s, and they would then swap off.  The WILLIAM’s included:

• WWII Sit Ups
• In-place Running
• LBC’s
• Low Country Crab Walks
• Imperial Storm Troopers
• American Hammers
• Merkins

After this we did BALM’s (I was reading my dictionary last night).  One partner would run up the hill and back down to the bottom while the other partner did an AMRAP of BALM’s, and they would then swap off.  The BALM’s included:

• Burpees
• American Hammers
• Lunges
• Merkins

We then did 10 Burpees OYO and ran to the top of the hill.

We mosied to the front of the school at the starting point for wall exercises.  We did 2 sets of 10 reps each of the following:

• Mohammed Ali’s
• Joe Fraziers
• Ken Nortons
• Itsy Bitsy Spiders
• Merkins

We then did 2 sets of 10 reps each of the following:

• Pushup Bra’s
• Overhead Presses
• Chinooks
• Itsy Bitsy Spiders
• Merkins
