Beautiful Thursday morning at PB….cool temps and nice breeze. The crew rolled in for the challenge of the day.
Started of with the normal not responsible, hospital and something about not being a professor or professional…..
We decided to start as a mosey and at about every so often stopped to do warm ups from Bernie’s, to arm circles, butt kicks and so on.
Arrived at the point of the event….front entrance to FUMC. So the course was to run up to Hospice entrance…do 20 merkins and then 20 BB….run down the hill to the top of the staircase of FUMC and do 20 merkins….back down the stairs and run to the top of the first flight of stairs at the Presbyterian and do 20 BB….across the parking lot and down the next set of stairs to do 20 merkins….then back to FUMC….drop and do 20 LBC’s. Continue the same route going down….each route at 19, then 18, then 17 and so on. The group made it to 16….definitely a lot tougher and longer than one would think. Time was running out so we headed back to the AO with 2 minutes to spare….there was some discussion of not doing the full time so we dropped and did a few leg/ab exercises.
