Just a little run around town

It was actually a nice 35 degree run this morning. We started a story about a young heart transplant recipient who was appreciative of a new heart but burdened that some one else had to give their life so she could have life. Long story short we talked about how her husband was determined to help her find closure and how the daughter of the donor needed closure as well.  Bottom line while the donor and recipient were the main players the desire of the husband and the desire of the daughter to find reach out and help resulted in closure. Again we don’t have to be the main characters to make a big difference and  tohelp someone else out. That was our challenge. 
next we can up main streets to begin a down hill run down the newer greenway path through the woods. I thought the barking dogs along the path will prepare my mind for the upcoming Mortimer relay 2021 and start preparing a Lenoir 2022 team for next year ( twin and snips). Then we proceeded down the railroad track line to the next greenway area Bismarck  has labeled as Devil’s Trail. From there to highway 18 for a brief  moment then up Jennings street hill to Underdown and back around town to the AO. Great to see all the guys especially my fellow 50 year old something Bismarck to help increase our average age back up again and to help push me to run some miles in the 8’s this morning.
