Well….finally found my way in to the BackBlast so it wouldn’t be me who broke the F3 Lenoir streak.
Being a very balmy Saturday morning in the low 20’s figured we needed to stay in motion. F3ers were rolling in either by vehicle or by foot and got rolling on time as had a goal and fingers crossed one of us at least would hit. Did a few warm ups including the favorite Side Straddle Hop but who wants to stay in one place for to long. So we started our “Biz” workout. One minute run then 45 second core…then one minute run and 45 second core…believe someone said we ended up with over 2 miles (HHS, HWY90, WLMS, Stadium stairs) plus around 24 different core exercises….the rules on the core is that it couldn’t be repeated and nothing easy such as arm circles. Didn’t get up for easy…at least not for today. “Q” called a number of the core events but each PAX had an opportunity of picking 2 each. There was a challenge that the “Q” couldn’t remember all of the core exercises that were performed and in all honesty….they were correct but Merkins, Big Boys, Box Jumps, Hurdle Jumps, Lunges, Monkey Humpers (Hwy 90 style)…get the gist. As for the goal mentioned earlier….it was that someone would hit over 600 calories and believe at least one achieved that but in all everyone rocked it.
WOD:
Loyal(ty) – One of the PAX commented on this and read it before my prerun. So, while running around to all the AO’s was thinking about this one word and asked myself…I can be loyal to/for something but am I committed???
Out and the streak lives on…..
