If you read my previous BB for PrisonBreak you’ll recall me sharing the dreaded inability to sleep pre-q and once again Friday night made for a long night. So if lack of sleep was your excuse for fartsacking, I might recommend you try harder 😳💪.
rolled in and Spokes was out on his Pre run, others begin to roll in and it’s discovered that Friar and Bismarck were also out enjoying a looooong Pre run, respect to you gentleman!
warmup: ssh, hairy rockettes, let’s mosey and make spokes find us (was that Bismarck’s idea? I honestly can’t remember but I fully agreed) so we continued a running warm up with running High knees, butt kickers and toy soldiers on my command. To the football stadium.
here we lined up on the end zone for the thang:
First and 10
100 yard field marked at 10 yard increments. Perform 10 Merkins, 1 Burpee (11’s) at the 10, sprint the remaining 90 yards. Recover jog back to the 20. Perform 9 Merkins, 2 Burpees, sprint the remaining 80 yards, recover jog to the 30. Repeat until all 100 yards and 11’s have been completed. Plank/core exercise until remaining PAX complete. (Harmonious mumblechatter and complaining kept spirits high and it was at about the 80 yard marker when spokes finally found us, unfortunate for his directions it was the long way around the middle school earning extra credit on his mileage I guess).
Bismarck gave us a 10 count in English (for what it’s worth I requested in a language other than Spanish and smart guy went with English, i guess I expected Chinese or something 🤷♂️.

Plank Hurdles
Done on a football field. In small groups of 5-6, everyone starts in the plank position in the end zone. 1st man from each group sprints to the 10 and planks, 2nd sprints, hurdles him, planks on the 20, 3rd man hurdles each, planks on the 30, etc. At the end of the group, 1st man sprints, hurdles everyone, etc. Everyone should finish in a plank in the opposite end zone.
we completed once as a team to the other end zone, then I suggested 2 teams of 3 competing to get to the other end zone, and grout was eager to compete.
teams were goodwill, Bismarck, Spokes Vs friar, Twin and grout. QIC completed with both teams at even pace to the finish. Team goodwill took the win today. We got another 10 count by spokes I think in German! Kudos! And moseyed to the middle school wall for
merkin chairs!

mosey down back to the AO discovering we were .13 miles from 2 miles QIC lead a lap around the parking lot. We circled up for some time with Mary, except for goodwill who needed one more distance to meet his 2mile mark and bc you never watch a man work, this was a good time to do wheezy Jefferson’s AMRaP.
upon goodwills return we the did protractors to finish up our time!
And another great swinger lead workout was had by most! Hahaha, I’m sure they all hated it as much as me, but again we don’t get up for easy.

this verse especially inspired me March 2020, when it felt like I was losing control of my work situation and unable to perform in my day to day sales tasks. This verse reminded me that regardless of what I thought I wanted or needed, ultimately I had all that I need. And should not want for anything.
Men, in the scheme of Life, we truly are blessed. Remember to have gratitude today and every day. Because Gratitude takes what you have and makes it enough!
