  Date:  11/21/2020
  AO:  The Station

Launchpad started in the wee hours of the morning with several PAX taking off to run 15ish miles.  Around 7:00 AM several more PAX and Kevin (Kevin is pictured above) joined the scene, as YHC and Pumpernipple doubled back to the station.  Kevin loves to run and enjoys gliding around Conover or anywhere for that matter.  Kevin showed up an hour and fifteen minutes earlier than his normal run time to get a few extra miles in today.  He ended up running 15 miles total today all being pushed by the PAX listed above.  Kevin’s goal is to crush a Triathlon in July and he is well on his way.  The miles that were ran this morning by the PAX in attendance served a greater purpose today.  The miles today were miles that didn’t just serve the PAX individually, but allowed us to run with Kevin and partner in his journey.  If you have never participated in a “Run Day” with Ainsley’s Angels I encourage you to do so soon.

Mole Skin:

  • Pumpernickle, newly named “Puppernipple,” still is recovering from the nipple bleed on Friday at RAM.  YHC ran with him for 12.5 miles and the majority of the time he was shirtless and it was COLDish!
  • Centerfold liked pushing Kevin downhill.
  • We all know that Goldberg runs fast going uphill.  Well, surprise surprise, he also runs fast uphill while pushing Kevin.  No one could catch him.  #lifegoals
  • Centerfold went back out for another lap with doc and Logan even though he’s running with an injury.  He does hard stuff every now and again.
  • Be LIONS, NOT sheep!
  • Several PAX loaded up YHCs van with clothes for a family in need.  Thanks for the support!  This was awesome!
  • Come join us at the “Glow Event” on December 12th at 6:00 PM in downtown hickory.  This will be a big event for Ainsley’s Angels.  If you want more information on this event get in touch with Wings
  • Kevin will be getting an F3 name in the near future…. stay tuned!
