Upon the arrival of the Q, 5 PAX were sheltering from the onslaught of hurricane ETA. With torrential rain
and flooding, there was only one thing to do at 0500. Pre Run.
The Pre Run began as a puddle jumping steeplechase event. As the PAX attempted to stay dry by the use of Rain X, it was deemed pointless. Around the time @Centerfold had one dry heel remaining, we had a car front approaching. The PAX chose to maintain a left lane position at the time the vehicle bounded through the flooding waters on the road. Thus, soaking any dry remnants on the PAX including @Centerfold’s dry heel. We were joined by 3 dry PAX to begin the beat down. The beat down began at 0530. Many of the dry PAX were disappointed when Q notified them that they would not be dry for long as the warmup included getting to your 6 and begin a 20 count Flutter Kick.
Upon proper warmness, a rifle carry to the start line of a Suicidal Murder Bunny beat down. This included Blockees, Alternating Hand Merkins, Lunges, and Windshield Wipers (seemed fitting). Ahh did I forget to mention…transportation to pain stations included Murder Bunnies out and Rifle carries back to
the Blockee start line. We soon learned that @HeyHey and @Centerfold are studs and their coupons crumble under their might. 3 Coupons were determined DOA.
Slow Mosey began towards the final exercise and COT when suddenly the Q’s man-card was brought into question because he failed to take the shortest route ….. through the Valley. The Valley at this point was 4ft deep with floodwaters. 5 PAX waded the rapids to arrive at the COT.
The remaining exercise was a Round Robin Merkin Filibuster to 100. Word of the day consisted of Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Q attempted to use his memory of what was written on his Winky. His Winky had gotten all wet and was no longer legible. Q was advised by @Belding to put his Winky in a bigger bag next time. Upon completion, 10 PAX were better and stronger than before and we concluded at the wall in Prayer.
