So YHC has def. dropped the ball as far as backblasts go, especially for the Regions latest RAMesque AO that is Alcatraz. Apparently several PAX were unaware that this was a RAM workout… SUPRISE it is. This is the 5th ish installment of Alcatraz without a backblast so….my bad.
Three boys from Conover came out for the Pre run which is impressive because I think that’s their first pre run in. different zip code!! Welcome to the 28690 boys!!
Today was your pretty standard Friday workout….with the POH happening this week, theres been some brutal beatdowns so figured we’d keep it a little more standardish (whatever that is) today. Did sort of a tour of Valdese with some Blimps mixed in along the way; ended up being just over 3 miles total.
WOD-totally stole Sheamus’s elephant story from his Expresso backblast but I really liked the story and it def. fits into what our world is today.

-Again, Pumped the boys from Conover made a POH pre run. I’m not gonna say YHC pre ran twice in their neighborhood but…….
-It was funny to hear everyone talk about how long it took to get to Valdese. I didn’t think it took very long at all!
-Pretty sure I heard someone point to an abandoned parking lot and make a walking dead filming reference…probably not far off from the truth.
-YHC really does enjoy posting at different AO’s and i love how the POH gives everyone an intentional reason to do so. Appreciate everyone coming out today…don’t be a stranger!
