QIC:  POH Committee

It’s back for your pleasures: Parade of Horribles Summer Edition.

Due to the size of our region, POH Committee decided to make POH a 2 week event. There’s just no way to cram visiting all of our AO’s in one week. Frankly, there’s really no way to do it easily in 2 weeks, but we did our best to make sure that you visit as many AO’s that are outside of everyone’s normal routine.

Does anyone remember those books from the 80’s Choose Your Own Adventure? I loved them. It went like this: You and Jimmy are on a boat. The boat runs out of gas. Do you:
A – tell Jimmy to swim back to the marina while you wait on him with a fresh pack of Kools and a sixer of Schaffer. Turn to page 29

B – call for help like a bunch of Panty Waists. Turn to page 27

C – both of you sit back, smoke a Kool, crack a cold one and flag down the first boat full of hot chicks to tow you back in to safety. Turn to page 30.

So hopefully, this chart makes sense. Your choices are grouped by color. For example on 6/22: If you post at ER, then you have to go to So Cal that night (yes, Mondays are double downs). Now you have 2 more choices for Tuesday: Star or Mount. But once you make that choice, you have to post to the corresponding AO (Star, then OG or Mount, then Sling Blade). If you’re still in it on 7/2, then your options are reduced.

So that’s it: 15 workouts in 14 days.

HALL PASS: If you miss a workout for any reason, you can pay a fee to join back in. You are only allowed one and it can’t be on any of the Double Downs (both Mondays and the final Friday). The fee is a Mini-Murph: 50 squats, One mile run, 50 burpees, one mile run, 50 merkins, and one mile run and it must be completed before the start of the next workout. You’ll need a witness and/or to make sure you put it on Strava.
