37 men from 6 different locations all over the greater Burke, Caldwell, Catawba and HKY area converged on the Henry River Soccer Complex this morning for a welcome to Phase 1, don’t have to be locked in the house all the time, lets celebrate with some quality SYITG suck fest!!

6 brave men stepped up to help coordinate and lead the festivities for the day. Each man brought forth one of their favorite, least favorite F3 activities from their experiences and brought them all to the same place for all to enjoy. The 6 stations consisted of,

  1. An Uno deck of pain where numbers and colors coordinated with pain and suffering.
  2. A lower body beatdown with more squats and lunges than one really knew what to do with.
  3. A crawl bear, bear crawl with some block dragging…up a hill; and bench presses.
  4. An ab beatdown that started with 10 count asheville abs and just got worse from there.
  5. The MOUNT workout, where the U was subbed from Up and Overs to Upright Rows….thankfully.
  6. A spoke that had 5 burpees in the middle, every time, after every exercise…..that’s all i’ll say about that.

It was great being back out there with everybody and YHC was pumped to see all of the familiar faces after a long time at the house. YHC did make a few observations:

  1. It gets warm when the sun comes out….not your typical F3 problem.
  2. I thought Tooth Fairy was gonna rob us when he showed up wearing the buff, Wild West Style cause it almost looked bandana-ish.
  3. It was a BYOCoupon workout and HBC came jogging in with what looked like a couple of bricks….we let it slide cause he probably ran there from his house, with said bricks.
  4. 1 minute seems like an extremely long time for 2 things; planking is one of them…i’ll let you figure out the other.
  5. Powder was there in spirit and in person….he’s fairly pale so it was hard to tell which one it was. YHC has a red headed son so I understand…..and also, we may need to chat.
  6. Props to Old School for being out there to support his F3 brothers after having a stroke recently.

Again we appreciate everyone that showed up to take part. If you were there, you got better; if you weren’t we probably talked about you!
