2 for pre-run @ F3 Hickory’s newest, premier, hotshot AO “The Tower”.
As YHC and Yogi come barrelling into the parking lot from dodging traffic and roadkill raccoons on the pre-run, I look into the lot and it’s a beautiful sight to see all of the cars that have faithfully brought the PAX out on this brisk, fall morning.
We circle up and since YHC has to head out early we start off with name-a-rama and COT
WOD: Just a few words about how grateful YHC is for this thing that is F3 as I approach my one year anniversary working out with the fine men of F3. I also discuss the F3principle: Leave no man behind but leave no man where you found him. Truly one of the finer points that I see carried out on a weekly basis.
Warm up: Humpy’s, Windmills, ATT (aka not the windmills), LAC–> RAC, SSH
Mosey to the block pile and then taking our coupon we head out to the dimly lit parking lot behind the Tower
WO: Pull a card out of the deck :
Round 1
Diamonds – Overhead press & Bear Crawls
Spades – Curls & Lungewalk
Hearts – Triceps Dips & Crabwalk
Clubs – Post Hole Diggers and Crawl Bears
Joker – Players Choice
Whatever # is on the card is doubled for 1st exercise and single count of parking spaces for the 2nd exercise
I.E. – 8 diamonds= 16 Overhead press and bear crawl for 8 parking spaces
Round 2
Diamonds – LBC
Spades – Squats
Hearts – Merkins
Clubs – Thighmasters
In between each exercise you made a lap from the upper parking lot down around through the lower parking lot back up to the workout area
I had to roll out a little after 6 and Sinkhole finished it out.
A good time was had by all
